We love Chaos in the Old World so much that I decided to paint up my set. I have offically levelled-up as a boardgame nerd.

Battletech is back! I have caught some sort of ancient bug from the mummified corpse of the game that originally introduced me to tabletop minis. (Thanks Anthony :) ) This lance of mechs is the first time I have painted anything from this game in well over 10 years. They are all eBay purchases that were stripped and repainted. Prepare to see more things like this here, as I attempt to fire up this game in our local group.

This is Ssylthss- He is my elf summoning swarm druid from our local 4e campaign, Caledon. After our Numinis game died in the "fires" of a spectacular TPK, we fired up a new campaign and have been under threat of a similarly spectacular TPK ever since. The mass of snakes and bugs is my swarm form, while the frog is my level 1 daily power and the panther is my soon-to-be level 5.

On left is Andrew's Dragonborn Sorceror, Azoel, from our Caledon campaign. On the right is Solomon, my yet-to-be-used duelist rogue.
Also of note in Hobbyland was Larrycon. I am sad that I did not post a followup to this awesome event when it actually happened (July?), but will do my best to recall what occured in the time I was there to the best of my ability:
Friday night- played Dominion, Dragonage RPG and some Chaos in the Old world. It was my first time playing Dragonage and it was good fun, mainly because of the way it was put together as a one-shot.
Saturday- More Chaos in the Old world and played in Rob's Dread game. This was my first game of Dread and it was a lot of fun. Also played a game called Cards Against Humanity. This game seemed to get a lot of play over the weekend, and it was fun for a little while, but is not something I would want to play often or for a long time.
Sunday Morning- Bang and some other card game I can't remember the name of (a Loony labs thing with dates and having to travel in time). Then had to catch flight back home. Looking forward to Larrycon 2012!
