Portland isn't so weird

Just returned from my first trip to Portland. Me and the wife had a great anniversary and ate like a king and queen. That place is truly a vegan's dream. Highlights for me were obviously the food, but also she had planned in a day where we drove out to Full Sail brewery along the Mt Hood and Gorge drive. Upping my man-cred by learning where and how the nectar of the gods is made, we capped the tour by eating in the brewery's cafe, where a (yes vegan) burger was washed down by a very limited special brew Top Sail Imperial Stout Bourbon Aged. This beer was incredible. I wanted to fill my suitcase with it and leave my clothes behind. And of course no trip would be complete without a visit to one of the area's local game stores (FLGS)- Guardian Games. I was very impressed with this store by just a short visit. The staff were friendly, and there was a very large amount of play space and stock on the shelves. We happened to show up on a Thursday night, which for them is beer and pizza night. Beer. Pizza. Game Store. So yes, you should check them out if you are in the area.
