Larrycon 2012

Another Larrycon has come and gone, and it was a blast! I am exhausted from too many hours gaming and deep philisophical conversation about how we gamers can fix the world. Games played:

Friday- Quarriors- a pretty dice game that plays exactly like Dominion or other deck building games, except you are building a pool of dice rather than a deck. Seems to play fairly fast.
DND "Next" Playtest- Rich the DM put on a fun and dare I say roleplaying filled game of DND for the 4 of us.
Saturday-Thunderstone- a card-based deck building game which bears some similarities to Dominion, but which I find more interesting due to the fantasy flavor and because of some unique mechanics. I will probably have to pick this one up for my collection.
Marvel RPG- Scott put on truly epic 9 to 9 1/2 hour session of Marvel heroic roleplay. This game is going to officially become a part of our regular game night.
Sunday-All Flesh Must Be Eaten-Bob the DM hosted several hours of tension and zombie-killing in the state of Utah- bloody map-props included.
Dark Heresy Demo-My game of Dark Heresy turns into a rules discussion with Rob and chance to pick Larry's brain about the game.
Thunderstone again-yay!

Thanks again to all the Utah crew-hope to see you again soon!
